okays so Christmas is over.
I didn't really spend christmas in a fantabulous way. it was more of helping out at home? yeah. relatives came over and i helped my mum. i was so tired at the end of the day and slept at 3am after packing everything up. bf was sick on christmas eve and slept at 1030. poor him but he's much better now except for his cough.

we went out on christmas to catch the movie redline. it was not bad, i kinda like the car action part and yeah i think the girl is quite pretty. hurhur. oooh~ me and bf took a train down to orchard! this is like the first time we went to town taking public transport since we started dating about one year plus ago! and cuz i dont usually take to somerset station, when we alighted, we were so shocked to see the change! im probably one of the last few to know about it. the last time i went, there was no 7-eleven and the accessory shop. so when we walked out, we were quite the suaku people commenting on when there were all these changes.

had sushi for dinner cuz the sushi counter at taka cold storage were selling their sushi cheap, i think cuz they were closing so it is half price. so i was like choosing the nicest sushi of all in the different packages. quite the auntie character but dont care la, i bet it was put for the whole day so i better make sure i choose the nicest. i realise that you can really see people in wierd outfits in cine cuz i saw quite a few for that short span of 15 minutes. headed for movie after that short 15 min of wierd people walking past me. didnt go popcorn crazy cuz bf couldnt eat and i was full of sushi.

took the train back to his place and took the car and went for supper at geylang. you know, i really enjoy going to geylang and looking at the night scene cuz i find it quite interesting. we were walking to our supper place and saw illegal gambling and the next thing i knew, people were shouting "mata mata!" and the people hurry take the table and run fast fast. for a moment i was afraid the police will catch me and suspect me of illegal gambling. hurhur. and after supper we walked back to the car, they were gambling again. (-.-)

the new year is coming soon. so fast. i was walking past meritus mandarin yesterday and exactly one year ago at that time, i was busy working. seriosuly when you work in service line where you dont have weekends off, all your days suddenly become weekdays. i remember many times where i stood by the window and looked out, i saw exceptionally many people crossing the roads and i asked my colleage: "eh, today weekend ah?" and she looked at me and said: "i think so." you see, we dont even realise and keep track, weekends are also working days. i was so sick of town when i was working in meritus cuz town seemed more like raffles place to me.

I miss the people at meritus, esp jimmy, irene and karim(shifu no.2). they were really a fun lot and i always look forward to working with jimmy cuz he is such a funny person. my first shifu already resigned and she's going to get married at the end of 2008. she's only 23! i hope to get married by 27, 23 sounds too young. my sister also got married at 27 and now she's happily pregnant. she was telling me, the baby keep kicking and when she sleeps on her right, they baby kept kicking to the left. at first she didnt care cuz babys always kick in their mother's womb. it affected her sleep though so she turned to her left and sleep and amazingly, the kicking stopped. and later she rolled to her right again and the baby started kicking to the left. so she had to turn to the left and then the kicking stopped. so cute right! i think he knows the song Irreplaceable by Beyonce and sings to the lyrics "to the left, to the left". hahahaha..

yey yey i can't wait to see him!

gonna go off now and play online games but my time trail has ended for Mystery Case Files. Boo...... i love that game la!
